ROCCABOX January Review

Thanks again to ROCCABOX for gifting this month’s box.

ROCCABOX are a small team based in Yorkshire who provide a monthly subscription beauty box. Their aim is to introduce new brands for you to sample before committing to full price.

I was sick of going on a shopping spree for beauty products and either getting talked into buying things I don’t need, or getting home having purchased something for £30+ and realising it’s totally wrong for my skin type.

Founder – Tia Roqaa

ROCCABOX gives around 5 products each month from the beauty/makeup/skincare industry. The goal is to empower, pamper and give you some well deserved ‘me time’.

So, what’s in January’s box?

Dirty Little Secret Exposed Jelly Blush – A new brand to me, this product leaves more of a sheer colour to your face (but is buildable if you prefer more colour!)

Daily Concepts Mother Of Pearl Sponge – £6.95, full size – It’s part exfoliating sponge, part soap. It’s actually my second one and comes in gentle, mild and vigorous strengths. It aims to clear dry skin and dead skin cells, whilst illuminating with mother of pearl. It’s also cruelty free!

BeautyPro Brightening Collagen Sheet Mask with Vitamin C – £4.95, full size – A popular sheet mask brand, but my first of this specific type. This is soaked in marine collagen which helps to promote a youthful appearance. Vitamin C reduces pigmentation and brighten skin.

St Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water – £5, 14ml – This handy sized product is great for on the go misting. With an added tint of tan, you’re given a healthy glow. The tan develops over time, without leaving any streaks. It has a lovely tropical scent which is an added bonus. I have very pale skin, yet this is still great to use. It doesn’t leave residue or cling to dry skin.

Bang Beauty Blush Brush – £13.99, full size – A handy sized blush brush, perfect for your handbag! Soft, but dense bristles in a rounded shape.
