Firstly, I need to say a huge thank you to Pixi Beauty for sending me their amazing products to use. It was a real pinch me moment and I’m not ashamed to say I cried a little!
But, I always endeavour to give my honest reviews.
Included in this amazing package was;
- Glow Glycolic Boost
- T-Zone Peel Off Mask
- Peel & Polish
- Glow Mud Mask
I’ve used all of the products multiple times, in order to review fairly. But it’s really hard to pick a favourite!
The Glow Mud Mask was my first try. It was thick yet dried quite quickly. My skin looked and felt amazing after washing off (with the handy Pixi cloth provided!). I loved the results, but not so much the scent of the mask.
The T-Zone Peel Off Mask is a shimmery green paste that dries and is peeled from your skin. It unblocks pores and clears away dead skin. I’ll admit though, that I ventured out from the Tzone and onto my cheeks. I do feel it helped to clear my rosacea prone cheeks. Sometimes they can develop spots or bumps of their own. It wasn’t painful to remove from these sensitive areas or the T-Zone.
The Peel & Polish was a pink, gentle exfoliator which buffed skin without causing irritation. This was nice to use before using the ‘Glow Glycolic’ sheet masks as it really opened up pores, ready to absorb moisture. Those masks are something else! They fitted perfectly on my face and I truly could see a difference in texture and moisture after using. Which, many masks promise, but don’t deliver on.
Finally, the DetoxifEYE eye masks, which have caused quite some confusion! Do you wear with the narrow part inside your eye or out?! I tried both ways and, I like feeling that my dark circles are fully covered rather than my outer eye. However, according to Pixi’s Instagram, they can be worn both ways according to your needs. I loved these, they were fun and really moisturising. However, I’d advise lying down when wearing so they don’t slip off!
