Dollibox September Review

This month’s box provided a mix of beauty and cosmetics products.

My favourite, was the pressed glitter shadow from GlitterEyes. I loved the autumnal shades of purple, brown and gold. You need a primer or fixing gel to properly apply though. But it also came with it’s own magnetic storage case.

I’ve loved the anatomicals brand for awhile now, so I was pleased to see a lipgloss from them. It’s a cherry flavour, but only mildly. It’s not overpowering and is clear in colour. It’s a nice consistency, that is thick enough to last for quite awhile!

Schwartzkopf popped in a travel size conditioner, which is unusual for Dollibox, they’re usually full size. But I go through conditioner at rapid speed, so it’s always handy to have a spare lying around from a trusted brand. However, we did receive a full sized, similar product from this brand a few months ago.

I loved the design of the Fairypants dry skin balm! It’s a vegan friendly, giant tub of vaseline! It smells great and has a thicker consistency that can be applied all over the body. The orange and vanilla scent leaves your skin smelling great.

Finally, I’m sad to review the Little Ondne nail polish. I really, really tried to get this product to work. I loved the colour (a deep, glittery purple), I loved the peel off idea and the fact it was natural ingredients. But no matter how many times I tried, this polish just doesn’t stick! Once it catches or starts lifting, the whole nail is ruined as it’s a peel off gel polish. It chips really quickly, and didn’t even last half a day on both the occasions I applied. It’s such a shame, because everything else is great about this brand.

Overall a good box from Dollibox, but I would prefer more makeup products. I also mThis month’s box provided a mix of beauty and cosmetics products.

  1. I’ve heard of many subscription boxes but I have never heard of the Dollibox before. The products inside look incredible, quite disappointed to hear about the nail varnish though!
